CORAL SOUTHWELL

Hi! I'm Coral Southwell, a web designer and singer-songwriter in Austin, Texas. I currently work for a publishing company and I've also done freelance writing and photography for many years.

I was born and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, graduating from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in psychology. I moved to Austin, Texas in 1992, primarily because of the wonderful music scene here. I was a travel agent for many years and have taken many journeys to varioius parts of the world. I enjoy taking photographs of my travels, and some of my pictures are exhibited elsewhere on these pages. I've been designing web sites since 1998 and doing desktop publishing and digital imaging since 1996.

I'd also like to tell you about one of my favorite types of travel, wildlife safaris, where you go out to view and photograph wildlife. I've gone on safari in Kenya and Nepal, and there's a separate page about my trip to Tanzania in 1998.
